Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform surgical technician duties in cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) setting
• Work varying shifts of 8-10 hours depending on department needs
• Participate in on-call rotation with 10-12 call shifts per month as assigned
• Serve as part of on-call team during holiday rotations
• Assist with open heart surgical procedures
• Support lung surgical procedures
• Provide technical assistance during vascular procedures
• Complete Trinity Child and Adult Dependent Abuse Training
• Submit Trinity IA Sing Report documentation
• Complete Trinity OFAC requirements
• Pass Trinity Skills Checklist assessment
• Maintain current license and certificate verification
• Complete Trinity Non Employee Upload Form
• Pass color vision screening requirements
• Maintain current COVID-19 vaccination status
• Complete required immunization documentation including MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and Tdap
• Pass fit test and tuberculosis screening requirements
• Complete physical and health statement documentation
• Pass Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen
• Complete Trinity Code of Conduct Form and system security agreements
• Submit to criminal background check and complete I-9 verification
• Complete education verification and conflict of interest disclosure
• Pass Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing
• Complete Trinity Joint Commission Testing requirements
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in IA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
