Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform ultrasound imaging procedures as an Ultrasound Technician
• Work rotating 8 and 10 hour shifts Monday through Friday
• Operate ultrasound equipment and imaging systems
• Utilize Epic electronic health records system for documentation
• Work with GE Centricity PACS system
• Maintain current BLS certification
• Maintain valid RDMS/RVT certification
• Complete required health screenings including fit testing and drug screening
• Maintain current vaccinations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, and Tdap
• Complete specialty-specific competency testing
• Pass color vision testing requirements
• Complete skills checklist verification
• Undergo criminal background check and education verification
• Complete Joint Commission testing and training requirements
• Complete child and adult dependent abuse training
• Maintain compliance with organizational policies and procedures
• Complete required compliance documentation and forms
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in IA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
