Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - L&D to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Days at a leading Hospital in Columbus, OH. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide registered nursing care for Labor & Delivery patients during 12-hour day shifts
• Complete EPIC STORK training as required for the position
• Maintain current RN license and complete license verification
• Complete required drug screening and health assessments including fit testing
• Obtain and maintain required immunizations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, PPD/IGRA, and Varicella
• Complete specialty-specific competency testing for Labor & Delivery
• Maintain compliance with all professional documentation including code of conduct and confidentiality agreements
• Complete criminal background check and education verification processes
• Pass required Joint Commission testing and skills checklist assessments
• Complete color vision testing and physical/health statement requirements
• Maintain NSO professional liability coverage
• Complete conflict of interest disclosure and integrity audit documentation
• Work scheduled shifts from 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM
• Provide nursing care in response to increased patient volume needs
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OH
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
