Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - Interventional Rad Tech Radiology to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform interventional radiology technician duties during dayshift hours (0630-1600) • Provide on-call coverage for 10-12 shifts over 6 weeks with 2 weekends • Complete fit testing requirements for respiratory protection • Maintain current tuberculosis screening (2 Step PPD OR IGRA) • Complete COVID-19 questionnaire and maintain vaccination status • Demonstrate competency through skills checklist completion • Maintain required immunizations including MMR, Hepatitis B, and Varicella • Complete annual physical and health assessments • Pass required drug screening protocols • Maintain current professional licensure and certification verification • Complete criminal background check and exclusion list screenings • Participate in Joint Commission testing and competency assessments • Complete specialty-specific competency testing for interventional radiology • Pass color vision testing requirements • Maintain confidentiality agreements and system security protocols • Complete conflict of interest and code of conduct documentation • Participate in continuing education and professional development activities
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OH
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
