Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - Interventional Rad Tech Radiology to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading Hospital in Columbus, OH. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform interventional radiology technician duties during dayshift hours 0630-1600
• Provide on-call coverage for 10-12 shifts over 6 weeks including 2 weekends
• Complete fit testing as required for onboarding
• Maintain current tuberculosis screening with 2 Step PPD or IGRA testing
• Complete specialty skills checklist and competency testing
• Maintain current immunizations including MMR, Hepatitis B, and Varicella
• Complete and maintain current physical/health statement
• Maintain valid professional licensure and certificate verification
• Complete required background checks and security clearances
• Comply with patient confidentiality and system security agreements
• Complete Joint Commission testing and continuing education requirements
• Maintain current COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations
• Pass required drug screening and color vision testing
• Adhere to facility code of conduct and integrity standards
• Complete all required compliance documentation and verification processes
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OH
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
