Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - Interventional Rad Tech Radiology to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform interventional radiology procedures and imaging studies
• Operate radiologic equipment and imaging technology safely and effectively
• Work dayshift schedule 40 hours per week on 4x10 hour shifts from 0630-1700
• Participate in on-call rotation including 14 days of on-call in a 6-week schedule
• Cover every third weekend call shift
• Provide possible holiday on-call coverage
• Maintain current professional licensure and certifications
• Complete required health screenings including COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, and tuberculosis testing
• Undergo fit testing for respiratory protection equipment
• Complete annual influenza vaccination as recommended
• Pass comprehensive drug screening and background checks
• Complete mandatory education verification and competency testing
• Demonstrate color vision competency for imaging procedures
• Adhere to patient confidentiality and information security agreements
• Comply with organizational code of conduct and conflict of interest policies
• Complete specialty-specific competency assessments and skills checklists
• Participate in Joint Commission testing and compliance requirements
• Maintain professional liability insurance coverage
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OH
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
