Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - RAD Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading Hospital in Newberg, OR. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform radiological imaging procedures including X-rays, fluoroscopy, and portable procedures across multiple patient care areas (ER, outpatient, inpatient) • Operate specialized equipment including 2 imaging rooms, 1 fluoroscopy unit, 2 c-arms, and 2 portable machines • Conduct imaging for surgical cases including urology, orthopedic, and gastroenterology procedures • Provide radiological services for all age groups including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics • Maintain current ARRT R and BLS certifications • Maintain valid Oregon state licensure • Complete required pre-start and annual training modules (average 16 hours) • Utilize Epic charting system for documentation and PACS for image management • Adhere to radiation safety protocols and infection prevention measures • Follow isolation precautions as required • Float between sister facilities and affiliate hospitals as needed • Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of experience within last 3 years • Work 3 out of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) • Complete required compliance documentation and background checks • Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules through Workramp transcripts • Utilize facility-provided communication devices when required for assignment duties • Maintain reliable transportation for assignment requirements • Submit monthly cell phone bills to agency if personal device used for work-related communication
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OR
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
