Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist - CT Tech to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform CT imaging procedures including head, chest, abdomen, pelvis without and/or with contrast • Conduct specialized CT procedures such as coronary CTA, CT arthrography, and vascular CTA • Perform 3D rendering including Maximum intensity projection, Surface shaded displays, and Volume rendering • Conduct Multiplanar reconstruction (MRP) and Region of interest measurement (ROI) • Prepare and administer contrast media as required • Start peripheral IVs and perform venipuncture procedures • Assist with biopsies, aspirations, and drainage procedures when needed • Provide imaging services for emergency department and ICU patients • Follow isolation precautions and radiation safety protocols • Utilize PACS system for image management and documentation • Chart patient information using Epic system • Provide care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients • Handle trauma cases including musculoskeletal trauma and trauma head imaging • Complete orientation program of 80 hours • Complete required modules pre-start and annually (average 16 hours, non-billable) • Maintain ARRT CT certification, BLS certification, and state licensure • Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within last 3 years • Work one week and one weekend of backup call during contract duration • Float between sister facilities and affiliate hospitals as required • Must have reliable vehicle for assignment • Commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) • Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules • Submit monthly cell phone bills if facility-provided communication device is not available
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OR
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
