Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist - CT Tech to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform CT scanning procedures for various body systems including head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, and musculoskeletal imaging • Conduct CT studies with and without contrast media administration • Perform specialized CT procedures including 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and volume rendering • Provide imaging services for emergency department, ICU, and trauma patients • Prepare and administer contrast media as required for procedures • Start peripheral IVs and perform venipuncture when necessary • Operate CT equipment safely while maintaining radiation safety protocols • Perform region of interest measurements and utilize PACS system for image management • Document patient care and procedures using Epic charting system • Provide CT services for adult acute care, outpatient, adolescent, and geriatric patients • Assist with CT-guided procedures including biopsies, aspirations, and drainage procedures • Maintain current ARRT CT certification and state licensure • Complete BLS certification requirements • Follow isolation precautions and infection control protocols • Work scheduled shifts including weekends (Saturday-Sunday 0730-2000) • Participate in one week of backup call during contract duration • Complete required pre-start and annual training modules • Float between sister facilities and affiliate hospitals as needed • Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of experience • Maintain professional standards and adhere to facility policies • Work 3 out of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) • Utilize facility-provided communication devices when required • Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules • Complete 80 hours of facility orientation
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OR
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
