Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate MRI Tech - MRI Tech to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform MRI imaging procedures for adult patients including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Operate MRI equipment including Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba systems
• Conduct imaging studies for various anatomical areas including abdomen, breast, chest, brain, face/soft tissue neck, cervical, lumbar, and thoracic regions
• Perform specialized imaging techniques including diffusion imaging, gradient echo imaging, perfusion studies, and multiplanar reconstruction
• Execute image post-processing tasks including apparent diffusion coefficient mapping and subtraction
• Utilize PACS system for image management and workflow
• Maintain charting system documentation for all procedures
• Follow isolation precautions protocols when required
• Work weekend shifts and swing shift assignments as scheduled
• Maintain BLS certification and ARRT MR certification
• Provide care for adult acute care and adult outpatient populations
• Work with patient ratios of 1 technologist per scanner
• Operate in a 2-room MRI facility environment
• Adhere to facility policies and safety protocols
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OR
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
