Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate MRI Tech - MRI Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Days at a leading Hospital in Hillsboro, OR. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform MRI technologist duties with minimum 1 year of experience
• Maintain current BLS and ARRT MR certifications
• Work 10-hour weekend shifts (0730-1800) and two 8-hour weekday shifts (1200-2030)
• Utilize Epic charting system for documentation and patient records
• Provide MRI services for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
• Perform various MRI procedures including abdomen, breast, chest, brain, spine imaging
• Operate MRI equipment including Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba systems
• Complete image post-processing including ADC mapping and subtraction techniques
• Perform multiplanar reconstruction (MPR) and perfusion imaging
• Maintain patient ratios of 1 technologist per 1.5 MRI scanners
• Float between sister facilities and affiliate hospitals as required
• Complete required modules and training programs pre-start and annually
• Work 3 out of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within last 3 years
• Maintain valid state licensure and complete compliance documentation
• Use facility-provided communication devices when required for assignments
• Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules
• Follow isolation precautions and safety protocols as needed
• Maintain professional standards for adult acute care and outpatient services
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OR
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
