Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - RAD Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x8 Days at a leading Hospital in Oregon City, OR. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform portable x-rays throughout the facility
• Conduct routine x-ray examinations in the radiology department
• Operate c-arm x-ray equipment in surgery
• Assist with fluoroscopy procedures as needed
• Handle routine radiology and fluoroscopy exams in both imaging department and surgery
• Work scheduled shifts Saturday through Tuesday 07:00-15:30
• Be available for 2-4 nights of call per month
• Work weekend shifts as required
• Maintain ARRT R and BLS certifications
• Complete required pre-start and annual training modules
• Use Epic charting system for documentation
• Work with all patient age groups from neonates to geriatrics
• Handle daily census of 10-30 exams
• Utilize PACS system for imaging
• Prepare and/or administer contrast media when required
• Float between sister facilities and affiliate hospitals as needed
• Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of experience
• Maintain current state licensure
• Commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays
• Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules
• Use facility-provided communication devices when required
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OR
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
