Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - Cath Lab to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading Hospital in Portland, OR. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform radiologic technologist duties in cardiac catheterization laboratory and electrophysiology procedures • Maintain sterile field and scrub for cardiovascular and interventional procedures • Operate fluoroscopy equipment in compliance with state licensing requirements • Assist with left and right heart catheterizations, angioplasty, and stent placements • Support percutaneous coronary interventions and transcatheter valve procedures • Perform room circulator duties and accurate patient monitoring • Assist with neuro-vascular procedures including stroke thrombectomy and cerebral interventions • Support interventional radiology procedures and structural heart interventions • Maintain current ARRT certification and state licensure • Complete required BLS and ACLS certifications • Document patient care activities using Epic charting system • Complete mandatory training modules and continuing education requirements • Provide minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of experience • Float between sister facilities and affiliate hospitals as assigned • Work assigned holidays as required by facility policy • Participate in 40-hour orientation program • Handle daily caseload of approximately 25 procedures • Maintain competency in departmental procedures across neuro-vascular, cardiac, and interventional specialties • Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules • Utilize facility-provided communication devices when required
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OR
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
