Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - Cath Lab to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading Hospital in Portland, OR. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform catheterization laboratory procedures as a Radiology Technologist
• Maintain current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Complete 40 hours of orientation training
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Perform cardiac procedures including left and right heart catheterization, PCI, and PTCA
• Conduct neuro-vascular procedures including diagnostic carotid/cerebral angiograms and stroke thrombectomy
• Assist with interventional radiology and structural heart procedures
• Maintain sterile field and function as room circulator
• Monitor patients accurately and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias
• Perform various specialized procedures including angioplasty, stent placement, and embolization
• Utilize Epic charting system for documentation
• Work on-call shifts including weeknights and weekends
• Complete required pre-start and annual training modules
• Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of experience
• Maintain valid Oregon radiology technologist license and OBMI licensure
• Float to affiliate hospitals as required
• Commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays
• Use facility-provided communication devices when required
• Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules
• Adhere to facility policies and scheduling requirements
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OR
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
