Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Sonographer - Vascular Sonographer to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform vascular and cardiovascular sonography procedures at ambulatory locations
• Work 8-hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• Maintain current licensure and certification verification
• Complete required health screenings including COVID-19 vaccination, MMR, Hepatitis B, and tuberculosis testing
• Undergo and maintain current fit testing for respiratory protection
• Complete mandatory drug screening and background check requirements
• Participate in specialty-specific competency testing and skills assessment
• Complete required education verification and professional documentation
• Adhere to conflict of interest disclosure and code of conduct requirements
• Maintain system access privileges and complete required security agreements
• Participate in Joint Commission testing and compliance requirements
• Complete integrity and audit services documentation
• Maintain professional liability coverage through designated programs
• Complete required I-9 employment eligibility verification
• Demonstrate adequate color vision for diagnostic imaging procedures
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OH
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
