Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - Neuro Orthopedics to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Days at a leading Hospital in Sioux City, IA. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive nursing care for neurological and orthopedic patients
• Complete required Trinity training modules including Child and Adult Dependent Abuse Training
• Maintain current nursing license and complete license verification process
• Complete specialty-specific competency testing for neuro-orthopedic unit
• Adhere to 12-hour shift schedule from 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM
• Work every other weekend as scheduled
• Complete mandatory health screenings including drug screening, fit testing, and color vision testing
• Maintain current immunizations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, PPD/IGRA, and Varicella
• Complete criminal background check and comply with all compliance documentation requirements
• Participate in Joint Commission testing and maintain professional development standards
• Complete I-9 verification and education verification processes
• Adhere to confidentiality agreements and system security protocols
• Complete integrity and audit services documentation
• Maintain professional liability insurance coverage
• Follow facility policies and procedures for patient care delivery
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in IA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
