Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care for medical surgical telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac telemetry and respond to alarms appropriately
• Complete Trinity Child and Adult Dependent Abuse Training
• Complete Trinity Skills Checklist and specialty specific competency testing
• Complete Trinity Joint Commission Testing requirements
• Maintain current nursing license and complete license verification
• Pass fit testing for respiratory protection equipment
• Complete 9 panel drug screening
• Sign Code of Conduct Form and Integrity and Audit Services Form
• Complete I9 employment verification documentation
• Sign confidentiality agreement for patient and property information and system security
• Pass color vision testing
• Maintain required immunizations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella
• Complete tuberculosis screening with 2 Step PPD or IGRA testing
• Complete physical/health statement requirements
• Complete Trinity Profile submission
• Sign Conflict of Interest Disclosure Form
• Pass criminal background check
• Complete education verification process
• Clear EPLS and GSA/OIG screening requirements
• Complete NSO (National Student Organization) requirements
• Complete System Access Form for facility systems
• Complete COVID-19 specific questionnaire
• Work 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM shifts as scheduled
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in IA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
