Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - Cath Lab to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading Hospital in Sioux City, IA. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide registered nursing services in the Cath Lab specialty setting
• Maintain current RN licensure and certifications
• Be available for on-call duties 10 days per month (may be reduced as staffing increases)
• Cover on-call shifts from 4pm to 7:30am on weekdays
• Work weekend on-call shifts from 7:30am to 7:30am
• Complete Trinity Child and Adult Dependent Abuse Training
• Complete Trinity OFAC compliance requirements
• Complete Trinity Skills Checklist assessment
• Undergo fit testing for respiratory protection
• Complete 9-panel drug screening
• Maintain compliance with Trinity Code of Conduct
• Complete I-9 employment verification documentation
• Adhere to confidentiality agreements for patient and proprietary information
• Complete specialty-specific competency testing
• Undergo color vision testing
• Maintain current COVID-19 vaccination
• Provide proof of MMR vaccination
• Maintain Hepatitis B vaccination
• Complete tuberculosis screening (2-step PPD or IGRA)
• Provide proof of Varicella vaccination
• Complete physical examination and health statement
• Undergo criminal background check
• Complete education verification process
• Complete Joint Commission testing requirements
• Maintain professional liability insurance (NSO)
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in IA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
