Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - PACU to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Days at a leading Hospital in Sioux City, IA. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care services in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
• Work assigned shifts including 0630-1900, 0800-2030, and 10a-2230pm
• Work every 3rd weekend as scheduled
• Be available for on-call assignments when required
• Complete Child and Adult Dependent Abuse Training
• Complete required skills checklist and competency testing
• Maintain current nursing license and provide verification
• Complete required drug screening and health assessments
• Complete specialty-specific competency testing
• Maintain required immunizations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, PPD/IGRA, and Varicella
• Complete annual physical and health statement requirements
• Comply with background check and criminal screening processes
• Complete education verification requirements
• Adhere to facility code of conduct and confidentiality agreements
• Complete Joint Commission testing and compliance requirements
• Maintain professional liability insurance coverage
• Complete required system access and security training
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in IA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
