Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist - Respiratory Therapist to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide respiratory therapy services in NICU setting with required NICU experience
• Work night shift schedule from 1800-0630 hours every other weekend
• Complete Trinity Child and Adult Dependent Abuse Training during onboarding
• Submit to Trinity OFAC and IA Sing Report requirements
• Complete Trinity Skills Checklist and specialty specific competency testing
• Maintain valid respiratory therapist license and certificate verification
• Complete fit testing and color vision assessment
• Adhere to Trinity Code of Conduct and complete I9 documentation
• Sign confidentiality agreement for patient and property information and system security
• Complete integrity and audit services documentation
• Maintain required vaccinations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella
• Complete tuberculosis screening via 2 Step PPD or IGRA testing
• Pass physical/health statement and 9 panel drug screening
• Complete conflict of interest disclosure and criminal background check
• Verify education credentials and complete Joint Commission testing
• Obtain NSO coverage and complete system access requirements
• Complete COVID-19 specific health questionnaire
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in IA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
