Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - L&D to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Days at a leading Hospital in Davenport, IA. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide registered nursing services in Labor & Delivery unit
• Work every 3rd weekend as scheduled
• Maintain current nursing license and required certifications
• Complete Trinity Child and Adult Dependent Abuse Training
• Complete mandatory skills checklist and competency testing
• Undergo required health screenings including MMR, Hepatitis B, PPD/IGRA, Varicella, and Tdap
• Complete 10 panel drug screening and physical/health statement
• Maintain current COVID-19 and annual influenza vaccinations
• Complete Joint Commission testing and specialty-specific competency assessments
• Adhere to Trinity Code of Conduct and confidentiality agreements
• Undergo background checks and verification processes
• Complete required training modules and PowerPoint presentations
• Maintain professional liability insurance (NSO)
• Work 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM shift schedule
• Comply with all Trinity Health system policies and procedures
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in IA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
