Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - L&D to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Days at a leading Hospital in Davenport, IA. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive nursing care for labor and delivery patients
• Work every 3rd weekend as part of regular schedule rotation
• Complete Trinity Child and Adult Dependent Abuse Training during onboarding
• Maintain current nursing license and complete license verification requirements
• Complete Trinity Skills Checklist and specialty specific competency testing
• Maintain required immunizations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and Tdap
• Complete 2 Step PPD or IGRA testing for tuberculosis screening
• Pass Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen and maintain compliance with substance abuse policies
• Complete all required Trinity training modules including Joint Commission testing
• Maintain patient confidentiality per Trinity Confidentiality of Patient & Property Information & System Security Agreement
• Work 12.5-hour shifts from 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM
• Complete physical/health statement and pass color vision testing
• Adhere to Trinity Code of Conduct and conflict of interest policies
• Complete required background checks and maintain clean criminal record
• Verify education credentials and complete Trinity Education Verification process
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in IA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
