Experience

- Experience in Neuro Stepdown, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown & Telemetry required

- Registered Nurse (RN) license

- BLS

Skills Required
- Ability to titrate LEVO
- Cardiac monitoring and emergency response skills
- IV insulin protocols and titration of insulin drips
- Feeding tube care and management
- Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI) and pre/post hemodialysis management
- Blood product administration and central line care/management
- PICC line management and starting/maintaining IVs
- Management of dysrhythmias and interpretation of dysrhythmias
- Telemetry monitoring
- Neuro skills including management of traumatic brain injury, seizures, CVA, and intracranial bleeds
- BiPAP/CPAP management and care of ventilated patients
- Emergency response using rapid response/code teams
- Wound care and isolation precautions/PPE
