Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience required, 3 years preferred
- Experience with more than 300 births per month required
- Previous travel experience required, first-time travelers accepted if they have experience in a large or high-volume setting
License & Certification Required
- RN license
- BCLS
- AWHONN Intermediate
- NRP
- AWHONN Advanced or C-EFM acceptable in lieu of AWHONN Intermediate

- Circulate for C-section
- Competent in immediate newborn care
- Sterile vaginal exam
- Labor & Delivery competencies
- High-risk antepartum care
- Neonatal resuscitation
- Starting and maintaining IVs
- Triage of obstetrical patients
- Interpretation of dysrhythmias
- Isolation precautions/PPE
- Pain assessment & management
- Oxytocin Challenge Tests (OCT)
Desired Skills
- Experience with double labor assignments
- Circulate to OR experience preferred
