Experience
- Minimum 2 years Emergency Room (ER) experience required
- Previous charge experience preferred
- Patient ratio experience of 1:4 required
- Experience floating to pediatric units may be required

- Registered Nurse (RN) license
- ACLS
- BLS
- NIHSS
- PALS
Skills Required
- Arterial line management
- BiPAP/CPAP management
- Blood product administration
- Care of ventilated patients
- Central line care/management
- Continuous IV sedation
- Interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs)
- Interpretation of dysrhythmias
- IV vasopressors
- Phlebotomy
- Starting and maintaining IVs
- Triage
Desired Skills
- Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
- Experience in a Level I Trauma Center
- Experience in a Level II Trauma Center
- Experience with pediatric emergency department cases preferred
- Experience with various patient age groups, including neonates, adolescents, and geriatrics
