Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - Endoscopy to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading Hospital in Portland, OR. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing assessments and patient care services in endoscopy procedures • Assist with endoscopy procedures including Colonoscopy, EGD, Bronchoscopy, ERCP, EUS, and EBUS • Perform scope reprocessing and equipment sterilization • Handle specimen collection, labeling, and processing • Administer and monitor conscious sedation when required • Interpret and manage dysrhythmias during procedures • Maintain current ACLS and BLS certifications • Utilize Epic charting system for documentation • Float between sister facilities and affiliate hospitals as needed • Provide on-call coverage 1830-0600 for 2-3 midweek calls every 4 weeks • Work with 1:1 patient ratios in advanced procedural setting • Complete required modules and training programs pre-start and annually • Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within comparable specialty • Maintain valid state licensure and certifications • Use facility-provided communication devices when required • Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules • Commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) • Adhere to facility policies and procedures for patient care delivery
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OR
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
