Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate PTA - Physical Therapist Assistant Rehab to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading Rehab in Portland, OR. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide physical therapy assistant services in home health setting
• Visit up to 6 patients per day with 30 productivity points standard
• Maintain current BLS certification
• Utilize EPIC Remote Client for Home Health charting on laptop and Rover phone app/Oasis
• Complete required modules pre-start and annually (average 16 hours, non-billable)
• Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules
• Provide minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within comparable specialty/setting
• Maintain valid OR/WA state licensure
• Provide own transportation for patient visits
• Travel within assigned service area with occasional maximum radius of 60 miles per day
• Float between all facilities within assigned state as required
• Work 8-hour day shifts (facility cannot accommodate 4x10s or 3x12s)
• Adhere to business casual dress code (scrubs allowed but not required)
• Utilize facility-provided communication devices when required
• Submit monthly cell phone bills to agency for work-related use if facility does not provide mobile phone
• Complete required compliance documentation and training programs
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OR
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
