Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - Cath Lab to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading Hospital in Santa Monica, CA. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform radiologic technologist duties in catheterization laboratory including cardiac, EP, VTE thrombectomy, interventional neuro, and interventional radiology procedures
• Support TAVR/TMVR, Watchman, Mitraclip, diagnostic and interventional cardiology, diagnostic and interventional neuro, and IR procedures
• Provide coverage for STEMI and stroke receiving center operations across 4 laboratories
• Maintain current BLS, ACLS, ARRT certification, and state license
• Obtain and maintain Fluoro Permit as required
• Float between specialties within the catheterization laboratory as needed
• Participate in on-call rotations Monday through Friday and weekend call requirements
• Work 3 weekends every 6-week schedule
• Commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Complete required pre-start and annual training modules
• Provide minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within last 3 years
• Utilize Epic charting system for documentation
• Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules
• Maintain sterile field and perform room circulator duties
• Set up equipment and prepare access sites for procedures
• Provide accurate hemodynamic monitoring
• Stock supplies and maintain inventory as needed
• Perform EKG lead placement as required
• Float between facilities within the state as assigned
• Use facility-provided communication devices when required for assignment duties
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in CA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
