Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - Cath Lab to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading Hospital in Anchorage, AK. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform diagnostic cardiac catheterizations and interventional cardiac procedures
• Conduct electrophysiology (EP) procedures and evaluations
• Perform interventional radiology procedures including lines, drains, embolizations, and vascular interventions
• Assist with structural heart procedures including PFO, TAVR, and Mitral Clip
• Support neurointervention and stroke thrombectomy procedures
• Assist with CRM device implants and pacemaker insertions
• Monitor hemodynamics and perform accurate patient monitoring
• Maintain sterile field and scrub for procedures
• Perform EKG lead placement and rhythm interpretation
• Assist with temporary mechanical circulatory support devices (IABP, Impella, Tandem Heart)
• Support various atherectomy and thrombectomy procedures
• Utilize Epic charting system for documentation
• Maintain current BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R) or RCIS certifications
• Work on-call shifts (1 shift per week and every 4th weekend)
• Work approximately every 4th Saturday as part of regular scheduled hours
• Float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals as needed
• Work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year)
• Complete required pre-start and annual training modules
• Provide minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within comparable specialty/setting
• Maintain valid state licensure and required certifications
• Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules
• Utilize facility-provided communication devices when required for work duties
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in AK
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
