Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate OT - Therapy Rehab to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading Hospital in Walla Walla, WA. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide occupational therapy services for adult and geriatric patients
• Evaluate and treat patients across all hospital areas including Acute, Medical, ICU, and Inpatient Rehab Unit
• Manage caseload of 9-11 patients per day
• Treat diverse patient diagnoses including multi-trauma, TBI, SCI, CVA, surgical, orthopedic, Parkinson's, MS
• Conduct evaluations followed by OT or COTA treatments based on patient needs
• Perform acute disorder and chronic disorder assessments
• Provide functional activities training
• Float between acute, medical, ICU and IRF units as needed
• Utilize Epic charting system for documentation
• Work independently with strong time management skills
• Maintain flexibility to pick up additional patients to meet productivity standards
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members
• Keep schedule full and assist team as needed
• Complete required modules pre-start and annually
• Provide minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within comparable specialty/setting
• Maintain valid state licensure
• Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules
• Complete compliance documentation by deadline
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in WA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
