Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate OT - Therapy Rehab to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading Rehab in Walla Walla, WA. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide occupational therapy services for adult patients in home health setting • Complete OASIS documentation for start of care visits • Maintain current BLS certification and NBCOT credentials • Conduct 4-6 patient visits per day achieving 27-30 productivity points • Provide timely communication and documentation for all patient encounters • Utilize provided documentation tools and electronic systems • Complete comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and treatments • Develop and implement treatment plans for various diagnoses including orthopedic, neurological, and cardiac conditions • Perform activities of daily living assessments and training • Fabricate and fit various types of splints as needed • Provide patient and family education on treatment protocols • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members • Maintain valid state occupational therapy license • Participate in on-call rotation as required • Travel within assigned territory with personal transportation • Complete required compliance documentation and training modules • Submit requested time off at time of application • Return all facility-provided equipment and documentation tools
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in WA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
