Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate OT - Therapy Rehab to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading Rehab in Walla Walla, WA. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to adult patients in home health setting
- Complete Start of Care (SOC) assessments and OASIS documentation as required
- Manage caseload of 4-5 patients per day with 27-30 productivity points standard
- Travel to patient homes within assigned territory using personal transportation
- Maintain current BLS and NBCOT certifications
- Utilize charting system for timely documentation and communication
- Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions including activities of daily living training
- Perform therapeutic modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and TENS
- Conduct cardiac rehabilitation and edema management techniques
- Fabricate and fit various types of splints including dynamic, static, and orthoplast splints
- Provide therapy for orthopedic conditions including hip fractures, knee injuries, and joint replacements
- Work with prosthetic devices for upper and lower extremities
- Treat soft tissue injuries, arthritis, and hand injuries
- Complete required compliance documentation and training modules
- Participate in on-call rotation as assigned
- Return all provided documentation tools and equipment
- Maintain valid state licensure in Washington or compact state license
- Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in WA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
