Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - RAD Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading Hospital in Eureka, CA. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform radiologic procedures including chest X-rays, abdomen studies, extremity imaging, and spine imaging
• Operate radiographic equipment including C-Arm procedures and portable imaging equipment
• Prepare and administer contrast media as required for procedures
• Perform fluoroscopic procedures with appropriate certification
• Start peripheral IVs when required for contrast procedures
• Provide radiologic services for multiple patient populations including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Work in various hospital departments including Emergency Department, ICU, NICU, PICU, and Operating Room
• Utilize Epic charting system for documentation and PACS for image management
• Maintain current ARRT R certification, BLS certification, CA license, and Fluoro permit
• Float between sister facilities and affiliate hospitals as needed
• Work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year)
• Participate in on-call duties as required
• Complete required modules and training programs pre-start and annually
• Provide minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within comparable specialty/setting
• Comply with facility dress code requirements (black scrubs for radiology)
• Utilize facility-provided communication devices when required
• Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures for patient care delivery
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in CA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
