Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - Cath Lab to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading Hospital in Eureka, CA. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform diagnostic and interventional catheterization procedures for coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, and cardiac arrhythmias • Conduct coronary diagnostic and intervention procedures • Perform peripheral diagnostic and intervention procedures • Assist with permanent pacemaker insertions • Maintain current ARRT, Fluoro Permit, BLS, and ACLS certifications • Operate fluoroscopy equipment during procedures • Set up and maintain catheterization lab equipment • Monitor hemodynamics during procedures • Maintain sterile field and scrub for procedures • Stock supplies and maintain inventory in the lab • Utilize PACS system for imaging documentation • Utilize Epic charting system for patient documentation • Assist with angioplasty and cardiac stent placement procedures • Support cardioversion procedures as needed • Assist with carotid angiography and stenting procedures • Support central venous access and port placement procedures • Participate in electrophysiology lab procedures • Assist with interventional radiology procedures including embolization • Support percutaneous coronary interventions and PTCA procedures • Assist with temporary and permanent pacemaker procedures • Support thrombolysis and thrombectomy procedures • Maintain accurate patient monitoring throughout procedures • Complete required compliance modules and training programs pre-start and annually • Work up to 4 days of call per week as needed • Work up to 2 weekends in a 6-week schedule • Work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year) • Float between sister facilities and affiliate hospitals as needed • Provide minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within comparable specialty • Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules • Use facility-provided communication devices when required for assignment duties • Adhere to facility dress code and policies
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in CA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
