Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform diagnostic cardiac catheterizations for adult patients • Assist with coronary diagnostic and intervention procedures • Support peripheral diagnostic and intervention procedures • Assist with permanent pacemaker insertions • Monitor patients using accurate hemodynamic monitoring techniques • Perform angioplasty and cardiac stent placement procedures • Assist with cardioversion procedures • Support carotid angiography and carotid stenting • Assist with central venous access and port placement • Support chest tube placement procedures • Perform diagnostic catheterizations for adults • Assist with dialysis graft creation, revision, and interventions • Support electrophysiology lab procedures • Perform embolization and endovascular interventions • Set up and maintain catheterization lab equipment • Assist with ERCP procedures • Operate fluoroscopy equipment safely and effectively • Support gastrostomy tube placement procedures • Assist with Impella insertion procedures • Support IVC filter placement procedures • Assist with insertion and programming of AICDs • Support interventional radiology procedures • Follow isolation precautions protocols • Perform left and right heart catheterizations • Assist with liver biopsy procedures • Maintain catheterization lab equipment and inventory • Utilize PACS system for imaging management • Support paracentesis procedures • Perform percutaneous coronary interventions • Assist with percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty • Support permanent pacemaker insertion procedures • Assist with radio embolization procedures • Support renal artery stent placement • Maintain sterile field during scrub procedures • Perform various special procedures as assigned • Assist with stent placement procedures • Maintain inventory and stock supplies • Support temporary pacemaker procedures • Assist with thoracentesis procedures • Perform thrombolysis and thrombectomy procedures • Support TIPS procedures • Perform upper and lower extremity angiography • Assist with ureteral stent placement • Support coil embolization and peripheral procedures • Handle daily caseload of 8-12 procedures • Maintain current ARRT certification • Maintain current Fluoro Permit • Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications • Complete 30 hours of orientation training • Be available for call coverage up to 4 days per week • Work up to 2 weekends in a 6-week schedule • Utilize Epic charting system for documentation • Float between sister facilities and affiliate hospitals as needed • Work with adult and geriatric patient populations • Maintain valid state licensure • Provide minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within comparable specialty • Work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year) • Complete required modules and training programs pre-start and annually • Comply with facility dress code requirements • Complete required compliance documentation and certifications • Perform duties using facility-provided communication devices when required • Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules • Adhere to facility policies and procedures for cardiac catheterization services
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in CA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
