Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - Interventional Rad Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading Hospital in Mission Hills, CA. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform interventional radiology procedures including adrenal angiography, angioplasty, aortography, chemoembolization, and embolization • Conduct specialized procedures such as ERCP, IVC filter placement and removal, liver biopsy, and thoracentesis • Perform genitourinary procedures including cystoscopy, nephrostomy, ureteral stent placement, and renal artery stent placement • Set up equipment and maintain sterile field as scrub technician • Function as room circulator during procedures • Utilize vascular closure systems including Perclose and StarClose • Maintain current ACLS and BLS certifications • Utilize Epic charting system for documentation • Complete required modules and training programs pre-start and annually • Work 3 out of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) • Float between facilities within the state as required • Maintain valid California state licensure • Obtain LA fire card within 30 days of assignment • Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within last 3 years • Complete compliance documentation and background requirements • Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules • Use facility-provided communication devices when required • Submit monthly cell phone bills for work-related usage when applicable
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in CA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
