Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - L&D to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Nights at a leading Hospital in Westerville, OH. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct patient care as a Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery unit
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM
• Complete Trinity Profile for submission
• Maintain current nursing license with verification required
• Complete specialty-specific competency testing for Labor and Delivery
• Utilize skills checklist to demonstrate clinical competencies
• Complete Joint Commission testing and compliance requirements
• Maintain required immunizations including MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, COVID-19, and annual Influenza vaccines
• Complete tuberculosis screening via 2-step PPD or IGRA testing
• Undergo fit testing for respiratory protection equipment
• Complete physical/health statement and color vision assessment
• Pass 10-panel drug screening
• Complete criminal background check and exclusion list verifications
• Provide education verification documentation
• Complete Code of Conduct and confidentiality agreements
• Submit conflict of interest disclosure forms
• Complete system access and audit services documentation
• Maintain NSO professional liability coverage
• Complete I9 employment eligibility verification
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OH
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
