Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - Cath Lab to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading Hospital in Santa Monica, CA. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform radiology technician duties in catheterization laboratory setting
• Support cardiac, electrophysiology, VTE thrombectomy, interventional neuro, and interventional radiology procedures
• Assist with TAVR/TMVR, Watchman, Mitraclip procedures
• Provide support for diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures
• Assist with diagnostic and interventional neuro procedures
• Perform accurate monitoring and hemodynamic monitoring
• Assist with angioplasty, cardiac stent placement, and PCI procedures
• Support carotid angiography and carotid stenting procedures
• Assist with embolization and thrombectomy procedures
• Perform equipment setup and maintain sterile field when scrubbing
• Prepare access sites and perform EKG lead placement
• Stock supplies and maintain room circulation duties
• Float between specialties within the catheterization laboratory
• Respond to on-call requirements Monday through Friday and weekends
• Work 2 weekends every 6-week schedule
• Commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays
• Complete required modules pre-start and annually
• Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules
• Maintain current BLS, ACLS, ARRT, fluoroscopy permit, and state licensure
• Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within last 3 years
• Float between all facilities within the state as required
• Utilize Epic charting system for documentation
• Use facility-provided communication devices when required
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in CA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
