Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - Interventional Rad Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading Hospital in Tarzana, CA. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform interventional radiology procedures including angioplasty, cardiac stent placement, carotid stenting, and embolization • Manage central venous access including non-tunneled lines, PICC lines, and port placement • Conduct specialized procedures such as nephrostomy, gastrostomy tube placement, and ureteral stent placement • Perform diagnostic procedures including liver biopsy, thoracentesis, and upper/lower extremity angiography • Execute peripheral procedures, kyphoplasty, and contrast studies • Provide hemodynamic monitoring and catheter/drain exchange services • Operate fluoroscopy equipment and maintain radiation safety protocols • Utilize PACS system for image management and documentation • Provide on-call coverage 1-2 days per week with rotating weekend responsibilities • Handle daily caseload of typically up to 6 patients • Work with adult and geriatric patient populations • Float between sister facilities within the state as required • Complete required pre-start and annual training modules • Maintain current ARRT certification, BLS certification, and fluoroscopy permit • Obtain and maintain LA Fire Card within 30 days • Provide supervisory references covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years • Work 3 out of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) • Complete 16 hours of orientation training • Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules • Use facility-provided communication devices when required for assignment duties
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in CA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
