Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - RAD Tech to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform radiologic examinations including X-rays, fluoroscopy, and surgical procedures
• Operate imaging equipment including C-Arm, O-ARM, PACS, Carestream, and Fuji systems
• Conduct 150-200 exams per day Monday-Friday and 100-120 exams Saturday-Sunday
• Provide imaging services for all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Work in various departments including ER, ICU, NICU, and Operating Room
• Perform portable imaging examinations as needed
• Prepare and administer contrast media when required
• Utilize Epic charting system for documentation
• Maintain current ARRT R and BLS certifications
• Complete required modules and training programs pre-start and annually
• Float between sister facilities and affiliate hospitals as needed
• Work minimum 1 on-call shift per month
• Work 3 out of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within last 3 years
• Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules
• Use facility-provided communication devices when required for assignment duties
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OR
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
