Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate MRI Tech - MRI Tech to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform MRI scanning procedures for adult patients across various anatomical areas including abdomen, breast, chest, brain, spine, and soft tissue • Operate MRI equipment including Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba systems • Conduct specialized imaging techniques such as diffusion imaging, gradient echo imaging, perfusion, and multiplanar reconstruction • Perform image post-processing including apparent diffusion coefficient mapping and subtraction techniques • Utilize PACS system for image management and workflow • Provide MRI services for both acute care and outpatient settings • Maintain current BLS and ARRT MR certifications • Complete required modules and training programs pre-start and annually • Work day and evening shifts with possible weekend coverage • Adhere to isolation precautions and safety protocols • Utilize Epic charting system for documentation and patient records • Float between sister facilities and affiliate hospitals as needed • Comply with facility dress code requirements • Provide minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within comparable specialty • Complete required compliance documentation and certifications • Perform duties using facility-provided communication devices when required • Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules • Work 3 out of 5 major holidays as required • Maintain professional standards for patient care across young adult, middle adult, and older adult populations
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OR
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
