Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate MRI Tech - MRI Tech to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform MRI imaging procedures including abdomen, brain, breast, chest, and other body systems
• Conduct pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric MRI imaging
• Operate MRI equipment including GE and Siemens systems
• Perform specialized imaging including CINE studies, diffusion imaging, perfusion, and spectroscopy
• Conduct magnetic resonance angiography and functional MRI procedures
• Prepare and administer contrast media when required
• Start peripheral IVs as needed
• Perform image post-processing including ADC mapping and subtraction techniques
• Utilize multiplanar reconstruction and maximum intensity projection techniques
• Handle inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department imaging requests
• Perform breast biopsy procedures under MRI guidance
• Conduct intraoperative MRI imaging
• Utilize Epic charting system for documentation and patient records
• Operate PACS system for image management
• Use surface coils and specialized imaging sequences including T-1 and T-2 weighted images
• Maintain current ARRT MR and BLS certifications
• Maintain valid state licensure
• Complete required pre-start and annual training modules
• Work variable shifts including weekends as required
• Work 3 out of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Float between sister facilities and affiliate hospitals as needed
• Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of experience
• Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules
• Use facility-provided communication devices when required
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OR
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
