Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - RAD Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading Hospital in Portland, OR. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform radiologic technologist duties including extremities, abdomen/GE, spine/pelvis, chest/thorax, and musculoskeletal imaging • Operate C-Arm equipment during surgical procedures • Maintain current ARRT R certification and state licensure • Maintain current BLS certification and fluoro permit • Utilize Epic charting system for documentation • Provide care to patients across all age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics • Work scheduled shifts including 11:30am - 10:00pm on weekends and 12:30pm - 11:00pm on weekdays • Complete 2-4 call shifts per month as preferred • Float between sister facilities and affiliate hospitals as needed • Complete required modules and training programs pre-start and annually • Provide minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within last 3 years • Work 3 out of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) • Complete 40 hours of orientation training • Perform portable imaging including portable chest and abdomen studies • Prepare and administer contrast media when required • Utilize PACS system for image management • Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules • Use facility-provided communication devices when required for assignment duties • Adhere to facility policies and procedures for patient care delivery
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OR
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
