Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - RAD Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading Hospital in Portland, OR. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform X-ray imaging for extremities, abdomen/GE, spine/pelvis, chest/thorax, and musculoskeletal studies • Conduct upper and lower extremity radiographic procedures • Operate surgery/C-Arm equipment during procedures • Utilize Epic charting system for documentation • Perform portable chest and abdomen imaging • Conduct routine chest imaging and specialized positioning studies • Operate PACS systems for image management • Prepare and administer contrast media when required • Perform fluoroscopy studies and enema procedures • Work with pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations • Complete 2-4 call shifts per month as preferred • Float between sister facilities and affiliate hospitals as needed • Maintain current ARRT R, BLS, and Fluoro Permit certifications • Maintain valid Oregon state license • Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within last 3 years • Complete required modules pre-start and annually (average 16 hours) • Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules • Work scheduled Monday-Thursday 12:00pm-10:30pm shifts • Commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays • Complete 40 hours of facility orientation • Utilize facility-provided communication devices when required • Adhere to facility dress code and policies
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OR
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
