Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - RAD Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading Hospital in Oregon City, OR. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform all duties of a radiology technologist including portable and c-arm imaging
• Conduct routine radiology exams and routine fluoroscopy exams in imaging department and surgery
• Perform portable x-ray and c-arm procedures
• Handle 10-30 exams daily with patient ratios of 1:1
• Work with diverse patient age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Maintain current ARRT R and BLS certifications
• Work scheduled shifts Thursday/Friday 1100-2330 and Saturday/Sunday 1500-2330
• Take 3-4 call nights per month from 5:00pm-6:15am
• Work 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Utilize Epic charting system for documentation
• Float between sister facilities and affiliate hospitals as required
• Complete required modules and training programs pre-start and annually
• Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within last 3 years
• Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules
• Use facility-provided communication devices when required for assignment duties
• Maintain valid state licensure and comply with facility policies
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OR
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
