Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Cath Lab Technologist - Cath Lab Tech to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform cardiac and peripheral catheterization procedures including Left Heart Cath, Right and Left Heart Cath, PTCA, Stenting, Thrombectomy, and Atherectomy
• Conduct carotid diagnostic and stenting procedures
• Perform peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures including Atherectomy
• Assist with Pacemaker Insertion, Tilt Table Test, Kyphoplasty, and AV graft diagnostic, stent, and thrombectomy procedures
• Work 8-hour day shifts and rotate call during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Operate and maintain proficiency with various Cath Lab devices including Philips Laser System, IVUS, OCT, and coronary/peripheral atherectomy devices
• Operate two Siemens Artis Zee C-arms and x-ray equipment
• Utilize McKesson CPACS, McKesson Cardiology, and McKesson Hemodynamic System
• Rotate between scrubbing and circulating procedures
• Assist with pre and post procedure patient care
• Transport patients as needed
• Assist with inventory management and billing processes
• Maintain current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Work some holidays during assignment
• Participate in on-call rotation schedule
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OK
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
