Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - CVICU to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 nights at a leading Hospital in Lawton, OK. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care in a combined medical ICU, surgical ICU, CVICU, and neuro ICU setting
• Care for pediatric patients when helicopter transport is unavailable
• Maintain 1:2 patient ratio in ICU with occasional 1:3 for ICU patients
• Float to CVCU with 1:4 staffing ratio during low census periods
• Float to ED to care for hold patients maintaining same patient ratios
• Work in 14-bed and 12-bed unit sections with patient placement based on bed availability
• Work 12-hour night shifts with 36-hour weekly guarantee
• Work 5 days out of six weeks for weekend coverage
• Maintain current ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), and BLS (AHA) certifications
• Maintain valid Oklahoma state nursing license
• Complete all compliance documentation one week prior to assignment start
• Provide work history and permanent address information
• Demonstrate minimum 6 months relevant ICU experience
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OK
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
