Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Sonographer - OB/GYN to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 days at a leading Hospital in Lawton, OK. Key Responsibilities:
• Operate imaging equipment to perform diagnostic procedures
• Review images to ensure good quality and diagnostic value
• Identify normal and abnormal imaging results
• Communicate summary of results to physicians and other health professionals
• Alert physicians to urgent problems identified in imaging
• Provide specialized OB/GYN sonography services
• Handle high risk OB cases and procedures
• Maintain current BLS (AHA) certification
• Complete all compliance documentation one week prior to start date
• Be available for on-call duties as needed
• Maintain minimum 6 months of relevant sonography experience
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OK
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
