Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Sterile Processing Tech - Sterile Processing Tech to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform sterile processing technician duties during evening shift hours Monday through Friday
• Complete fit testing as required for personal protective equipment
• Pass 9 panel drug screening requirements
• Maintain compliance with facility code of conduct and policies
• Complete I-9 employment verification documentation
• Sign confidentiality agreements for patient and proprietary information and system security
• Complete integrity and audit services documentation
• Pass specialty-specific competency testing requirements
• Complete color vision testing as required
• Maintain current tuberculosis screening (2 Step PPD or IGRA testing)
• Complete COVID-19 health questionnaires and maintain vaccination requirements
• Demonstrate proficiency through skills checklist completion
• Maintain required immunizations including MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and Tdap
• Complete annual physical and health statement requirements
• Complete conflict of interest disclosure forms
• Pass criminal background check requirements
• Provide education verification documentation
• Complete system access authorization procedures
• Work scheduled hours without on-call responsibilities
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OH
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
