Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - OR to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading Hospital in Sioux City, IA. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide registered nursing services in the operating room setting
• Work weeknight call approximately once per week
• Work weekend call approximately every 4th-5th weekend plus holidays
• Maintain flexible schedule availability between 0600-1830 or 0800-1830
• Work 3-12 hour shifts per week or 4-10 hour shifts per week in blocked scheduling
• Complete required health screenings including PPD or IGRA testing
• Maintain current COVID-19 vaccination status
• Complete mandatory training modules including child and adult dependent abuse training
• Maintain current professional licensure and certifications
• Complete skills checklist and competency testing requirements
• Undergo required background checks and screening processes
• Complete all required immunizations including MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and Tdap
• Pass fit testing requirements for respiratory protection
• Complete color vision testing as required
• Maintain compliance with all facility policies and procedures
• Complete required documentation and reporting requirements
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in IA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
