Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - OR to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Days at a leading Hospital in Sioux City, IA. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide registered nursing services in the operating room setting
• Work 3-12 hour shifts per week or 4-10 hour shifts per week
• Maintain schedule flexibility between 0600-1830 or 0800-1830
• Participate in weeknight call approximately once per week
• Provide weekend call coverage approximately every 4th-5th weekend
• Work holiday shifts as required
• Complete mandatory health screenings including PPD or IGRA testing
• Maintain current COVID-19 vaccination status
• Complete required immunizations including MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and Tdap
• Pass mandatory drug screening requirements
• Complete skills checklist and competency testing
• Participate in child and adult dependent abuse training
• Complete facility-specific orientation and training modules
• Maintain valid nursing license and certification verification
• Complete criminal background check and security clearances
• Adhere to facility code of conduct and confidentiality agreements
• Complete annual fit testing and color vision screening
• Participate in specialty-specific competency assessments
• Comply with all facility policies and documentation requirements
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in IA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
