Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Echo Technologist - Echo Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading Hospital in Mishawaka, IN. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform echocardiography examinations and diagnostic procedures
• Maintain current RDCS or RCS certification through American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovascular Credentialing International
• Maintain current BLS certification
• Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM schedule
• Complete required COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, and Varicella vaccinations
• Complete annual TB screening through 2-step PPD or IGRA testing
• Complete comprehensive drug screening and background check requirements
• Maintain current professional licensure and certification verification
• Complete mandatory orientation programs and training modules
• Adhere to facility dress code and professional conduct standards
• Complete annual competency assessments and Joint Commission testing requirements
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with system security agreements
• Complete required health assessments including physical examination and color vision testing
• Participate in annual TB questionnaire and latex allergy screening
• Maintain current Tdap vaccination status
• Complete all compliance documentation and professional verification requirements
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in IN
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
