Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - CVOR to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading Hospital in Mishawaka, IN. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting
• Work scheduled shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Participate in on-call rotation 2 nights per week and 2 weekends per month
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Complete license/certificate verification and maintain valid nursing license
• Undergo required health screenings including fit testing, TB questionnaire, and drug screening
• Complete mandatory vaccinations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and Tdap
• Adhere to facility code of conduct and confidentiality agreements
• Complete background checks and verification processes
• Participate in Joint Commission testing and facility orientation programs
• Complete skills checklist validation for CVOR competencies
• Maintain compliance with system access and security requirements
• Follow facility policies and procedures for cardiovascular surgical care
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in IN
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
