Experience
- Minimum 2 years Labor and Delivery experience required
- Must have expert experience in performing sterile vaginal exams independently without supervision
- Previous travel experience preferred

- Administration of blood & blood products
- Amnioinfusion
- Antepartum care
- Anticoagulation therapy
- Assistance with high-risk delivery
- Assistance with sterile speculum exams
- Assistance with vaginal delivery
- Cesarean Section circulation
- Dilation, effacement, and station assessments
- Patient education on breastfeeding support/lactation
- Use of EFM (External Fetal Heart Monitoring)
- Vaginal delivery procedures
- Recognizing and treating abnormal fetal heart rate patterns
- Starting and managing IVs
- Use of PCA (IV)
- Triage of obstetrical patients
Desired Skills
- Experience floating between units, specifically to mother-baby
- Experience with Meditech charting system
